28 Days

What an incredible month it has been…if this is an indicator of what the year will be like, than the year of the To celebrate the 28 days, I went to my new favorite place – Menchie’s, a frozen yogurt delight. A certain type of heavenly peace comes over me when I enter this fine sanctuary of delight.According to the You can mix up as many flavors and toppings as you want-you can choose from a wide variety of delicious flavors, and more than 40 toppings from chocolates, candies, and hot fudge, to granola and fresh seasonal fruit. The best part is that when you are done creating the perfect treat, you just place it on the scale and pay per ounce.Nothing beats giving the customer the choice of how much yogurt to have and how many toppings to load up because in the end, it is only fair to be charged for what you get. Love it! My perfect creation consists of french vanilla, boysenberry, mango tart, kit kat and mini peanut butter cups. Odd mixture, but completely satisfying. Pure heaven!!! Their frozen yogurt texture is unbeatable: creamy and thick, dispensing in stiff peaks. I am usually up for anything vanilla when it comes to ice-cream or frozen yogurt, but mango and boysenberry flavors had me swooning.Another thing I really like about this place is that they have a huge chalkboard on the wall where you can write anything you would like and keeps the decor and feel of the place very youthful and entertaining for everyone. Menchie’s absolutely delivers the goods and it does it in a clean and friendly atmosphere.****Pictures courtesy of www.menchies.com – my cameras were all dead and I forgot the phone….
