The Green Monster Mania Continues, OK, Purple Today

I can’t get enough of the green monsters. I love everything about them – name (it’s true, I can’t make a little one), taste, texture, color, nutrients and the way it makes me full until lunch time.I am still playing it safe, but it’s time to make some changes. I have been looking at different recipes on the GREEN MONSTER MOVEMENT page for what others are adding into theirs, and I am looking into adding some flaxseed meel, or dry oats, protein, and such. This morning’s green monster ended up being really a purple monster.INGREDIENTS1 cup of spinach1/2 banana4 large strawberries1/2 cup of blackberries (culprit of purple)2 scoops of AMAZING GRASS1 tsp. of honey peanut butter1 cup of almond milk1 cup of iceI prepare all the ingredients the night before and put it in a bowl so all I have to do in the morning is put the ice, milk and the content of the green monster bowl into blender and 30 sec. later I am on my way to work enjoying the green (purple) monster. Prior to me giving up Starbucks, I couldn’t imagine driving to work and drinking anything else but coffee, but this proves that all habits can be changed.I still drink my coffee as soon as I get to work, but my morning ride now is so much greener and healthier. Cheers!!!P.S. I need to figure out lighting in my house – the pictures are too yellow…ah where is my photography class manual…

I saw your post and decided to try them. I started Tuesday (am on my third day). So far so good, today I added canteloupe to the basic mix. It was good. Next attempt will be with mango. I used the amazing grass powder but I'm going to try real wheatgrass.
