Pregnant in Heels

I stayed up late, very late last night watching this hilarious new TV show – Pregnant in Heels. I hate to admit it, but I loved it. I really like Rosie Pope – a brilliant woman that found a niche market and made her self a millionaire. Her clients are crazy, but that’s what makes it so much fun to watch it. Perhaps even more because all of a sudden I could relate, to some of it…Can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings. Speaking of baby stuff – we attended the baby care class tonight, and I feel so unprepared for Mili-Mali’s arrival. There is still so much to learn, to buy, to prepare and so little time. But everyone keeps telling me, there is never enough time, you’ll just learn it as you go. I wish Rosie Pope would come to my house and get it all taken care of – Rosie, if you’re reading this – I need you ;)Last night’s dinner was rotisserie chicken, yellow rice and mixed steamed vegetables. Let me tell you a secret, the chicken was not home made, but it was soooo good. Every once in a while I love store bought rotisserie chicken. I know chef does too, it makes it for a very quick preparation. It was a very nicely balanced meal. I had two servings of veggies – they were a bit crunchy. With every bite I kept saying – yuuuum, yuuuum. Guess what I had for lunch today ?!?Fast forward to this morning, I was so tired, and not sure what to have for breakfast, so I went for the easiest and quickest – granola. I added some blackberries and blueberries and took my camera to take a photo, when I looked at my bowl and felt it wasn’t complete. So I went back and added some more treats – coconut, white chocolate chips and walnuts. Now my breakfast was complete. The berries were quite bitter, and coconut and white chocolate chips added a really nice touch of sweetness. I promise you granola was somewhere under there and it was crunchy too – I didn’t have time to get it soggy this morning. My birthday flowers didn’t really open up as I thought they would. They only changed color from yellow, to orange-redish-yellow…oh well, they are still beautiful and remind me every day that this is my birthday month!!!
